It's a snow blizzard here in Drangsnes so it's really cosy to sit inside and do almost nothing but still alot. Over and out.

Hi everyone!

Happy new year and thanks for a marvellous 2012. It was full of highlights and happy moments. Our release concert in Iðnó was probably the peak though. Airwaves was also good and it's impossible to mention 2012 without being smiling about the release of the new album. 

The Borkos are really looking forward to an even better 2013. We are planning a small European tour in April, hopefully some festival shows this summer and a bigger European tour sometime this fall. 

Until then I have put both albums on special price for you my friend in the shop so you can buy them for almost nothing there. Check it out.

We will be playing three shows during this Airwaves weekend. We will only be playing songs from the new album so you better be prepared. Our shows are as follows:

We will be playing tomorrow night at Faktorý with the magnificent Reykjavík! and Þórir Georg. We will be playing some songs from the new album that we have never played live before so it is something to look forward to. As if Borko concerts aren't always something to look forward to...

The new Borko album, Born to be Free, was prereleased on Gogoyoko last friday but the physical version arrived today and it is A OK. For now it's only available in Iceland but will be released for the rest of the world on November 2nd. If you can't wait until then you can buy your copy here in the new online shop.
